Parking close by

We're in central Te Aro, so parking is easy — a few free spaces on site, and plenty of metered parking on the streets right around the clinic.

Free parking on site

We have a few free parking spaces at the clinic, available first come, first served — handy if you'd rather not feed a meter.

Metered parking nearby

There are plenty of metered pay-by-plate spaces on the surrounding streets. Pay at the machine or with the PayMyPark app, and check the signs for the time limit.

Accessible parking

Accessible parking is available at the clinic. If you need a hand with parking or getting in, just let us know when you book and we'll make sure you're looked after.

Public transport

A minute from the bus stop

Our nearest stop is on Victoria Street, about a minute's walk from the door — with more stops on Willis Street just beyond. It's part of Wellington's central bus corridor, so plenty of routes stop close by, connecting the city and the surrounding suburbs.

Taxi & rideshare

Dropped at the door

Prefer not to drive or park? A taxi or rideshare is one of the easiest ways to reach the clinic.

Right to the entrance

Taxis and rideshare can pull in on Walter Street and drop you just metres from reception — no walking from a car park, and no stairs to worry about. If your driver needs directions, ask them to come down Featherston Street and Victoria Street to reach Walter Street.

After dilating drops

Some appointments include drops that blur your vision for a few hours, so it's best not to drive yourself home. A taxi or a lift from someone you know is the safe way to go — call us on 04 470 7663 if you'd like a hand.

Access & support

If you have any access or mobility needs, let us know when you book and we'll make sure everything's ready to make your visit as easy as possible. You're always welcome to call us on 04 470 7663 ahead of your appointment.
