Our home in Te Aro was thoughtfully reimagined for exceptional eye care — a warm, light-filled space in the heart of Wellington, designed with Pico Studio Architects.

A clinic of our own

Reimagined, room by room

Rather than settle into a standard medical suite, Dr Leong worked with Pico Studio Architects to reimagine an existing Te Aro building into a clinic made for eye care — shaped closely around how it feels to arrive, wait and be cared for.

The result is a warm, light-filled space: skylights and glazing for natural light, timber detailing and greenery for warmth, and a calm navy-and-white palette that carries the brand through every room — bringing modern ophthalmic technology together with a genuinely welcoming feel.

Filled with natural light
Skylights and generous glazing draw daylight deep into the clinic, for a space that feels calm and open — not clinical.
Warm and green
Timber detailing, a soft palette and planting throughout make every room feel warm and restorative, from the entry to the waiting area.
A considered reuse
Rather than build new, the clinic reimagines an existing Te Aro building — a lighter-footprint approach that keeps good bones and makes them beautiful.

A covered entry lets you arrive out of the weather, with parking and step-free access just metres from reception.
